So, I took the plunge and bought a Canon EOS700D dual lens kit from a local store on a 12 months interest free deal.

The telephoto lens that came with the camera is not quite at zoomy as my current one and the smaller lens has a wider angle of view than my older one.

Anyhoo, here are some images that are 1000px wide from my first couple of plays with the camera.  My old camera’s photo resolution wasabout 3500c x whatever.  The new one’s largest size is 5184x3456px.
